WWAY NewsChannel 3 named Best Newscast in Carolinas

WWAY NewsChannel 3 won eight awards at the Radio Television Digital News Association of the Carolinas annual convention Saturday at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, including Best Newscast in the Carolinas. WWAY won top honors in six categories. The two silver awards came in categories in which the station won top awards.

Columbus Co. woman pleads guilty to killing her boyfriend

Mattie Kelly plead guilty to 2nd Degree Murder and 1st Degree Burglary in Columbus County. Ms. Kelly told the officer that she had just killed her boyfriend. Ms. Kelly then told the officer the name of her boyfriend, Edward Jerome Jackson, and the location of his body

County looks for public feedback on Carolina Beach Rd. signs
