UPDATE: Progress Energy restores power to most traffic lights after transformer explodes

A transformer has blown, causing police to direct traffic. The affected area stretches from the intersection of Eastwood Road and Racine Drive to the intersection of Military Cutoff Road and Eastwood Road. All lights in that are are without power at this time.
