Search crews have found the body of a diver missing since Saturday off Southport. The Brunswick County Sheriff's Office Air Unit spotted the body of Danny Stump this morning.

Crews continue to search for missing diver near Southport

videoRescue crews are still looking for a missing diver that was last seen in the Cape Fear River near Southport. Rescuers say he was an experienced diver and was very familiar with the area. According to the U.S. Coast Guard, Danny Stump went missing Saturday afternoon. Witnesses say he was last seen diving a few yards offshore looking for ancient artifacts.

Seattle Seahawks add Owen Spencer to practice squad on Sunday

The Seattle Seahawks released former North Brunswick Scorpion Owen Spencer on Saturday. It's the second release this week for Spencer, but Owen Spencer isn't heading back to Brunswick County. Instead, he signed with Seattle on Sunday as a member of their practice squad.

Wilmington's Connor Barth keeps roster spot with Tampa Bay Buccaneers
