McIntyre: Focus should be local, not on Washington in wake of credit downgrade

We caught up with Rep. Mike McIntyre today in Brunswick Ccounty and asked him for his thoughts about Standard & Poor's downgrade of America's credit rating. Bruns. Co. Early College HS heads back to class with new focus

video It was back to school today for hundreds of students at Brunswick County Early College High School. This year is a special one for the school. It is the first year BCECHS will be take part in a national program that focuses on science, technology, engineering and math.

I-40 stop leads to big drug bust

In all detectives say they found about 700 bags of Heroin valued at approximately $21,000 and about one pound of marijuana valued at more than $1,000.

N. 3rd St. improvement work begins

According to the city, crews will do prep work this week, but starting next Monday, major construction will begin in the area of North 3rd Street between Market and Princess Streets. This will include the intersection of 3rd and Market Streets.
