video A little girl in Pender County had her dream come true today with a room makeover. Nine-year-old Lauren Ritterbusch has a life-threatening condition that makes it hard for her to leave her home. Today, the Make-A-Wish Foundation gave her some modern comforts to make her stay more stylish.

A Shallotte Police officer has found himself on the wrong side of the law. A SBI spokeswoman confirm that agents arrested Eric King yesterday for insurance fraud and obtaining property by false pretense.
