The boys basketball team at Hoggard tipped off the new season without any of their football players on Monday due to the fact the Hoggard football team is still alive in the state playoffs. Hoggard still managed to beat Coastal Christian. New Hanover and Dixon also played on Monday. The Dixon boys basketball team is considered to be one of the best 2-A teams in the state, but they were not able to defeat New Hanover. Check out our game highlights. Full story...
