DURHAM (AP) -- Students at Duke University are no longer ashamed to wear T-shirts that say "Duke football."
For the first time in nearly two years, the Blue Devils aren't bouncing back from a close loss or figuring out what went wrong during yet another rout. Instead, they're getting used to the joy of victory following their win at Northwestern.
Now, there's talk of a winning streak. Duke hasn't won two in a row since it beat Western Carolina and Rice in back-to-back weeks in September 2003.
Coach Ted Roof is warning his team not to get carried away with its rare victory, opening today's news conference by saying the 3-day-old win took place "a long time ago."
This week's opponent is Navy, and oddsmakers have made the Midshipmen a 12-point favorite.
