WILMINGTON -- Saturday was a training day at the American Legion post in Wilmington.

Not military training.

Model trains. The Legion hosted the 11th annual model railroad show and sale.

At least three different model train displays chugged through the post. The event has been a draw for locals for years. Including nine year old Robert Hufham, who's been going every year since he was two.

"It takes about five diesel engines to carry about 100 gondolas full of coal," Hufham noted. "That's something I think is very interesting."

The show will continue through Sunday. It starts at 10am and will go until 4pm.
