It was hot rods as far as the eye could see in downtown Wilmington Saturday.
The fifth annual Rims on the River event rolled into town. Onlookers were able to view vintage cars and motorcycles dating back to 1980 and earlier.
It wasn't just local car owners who participated. People came from all over the state to show off their unique rides.
“We came down as a car club from Elizabethtown. We've got thirty-three members in our club and eleven of us came down here today. We had a meeting this past Thursday night and a bunch of us decided to come down and help support Wilmington,” said Wayne Dove.
Event organizers tell us about 400 vehicles entered the show.
