Allegations against a Wake County school

Allegations against a Wake County school are emerging in a federal lawsuit against the school system. Parents of autistic students at Raleigh's Carroll Middle School claim children were restrained, including one with handcuffs. The suit also claims students were encouraged to wrestle each other to "let out their aggression." The lawsuit was brought by a Watchdog group for persons with disabilities. The group simply wants the names of special needs students and parents so it can investigate the allegations, but said Wake schools will not provide that confidential information. The school system is investigating.

How come?

I don't understand how in this day and time that kids with special needs or adults with special needs are treated this way. this is a very true case and more to come of this story. Why isn't anybody on their soap box about this. Parents go to the schools check on the kids, go to the PTA or PTO meetings, Go to the school board meeting. We must make the ones that are handling money, teaching our teacher be accountable. It has to stop.
