Allegiant cuts flights to Tampa

Just months after beginning service between Wilmington and the Tampa Bay area, Allegiant Air is scaling back. Allegiant's last flight from ILM to the St. Petersburg/Clearwater International Airport will be May 17. The company will be contacting travelers who have reservations beyond that date. Allegiant says there was simply a lack of demand for that flight. Allegiant will still fly between here and the Orlando area.

Allegiant Air is a joke. They came out with so many promises and can't follow thru on any of them. I wonder if those that already have flights planned wiill get a FULL refund or not??? Doubt it. What else sucks is that some people have probably paid other dues for things they planned on doing and may not be able to get a full refund back for those activities
