Antique show benefits local non-profit organization

For all you antique lovers looking for a good deal, this weekend is just for you. The 39th Annual Antique Show and Sale is in full swing at the Coastline Convention Center. The event is hosted by the North Carolina Junior Sorosis, a local non-profit organization. More than 35 antique dealers from across three states offer some rare finds. The show features a large selection of antique furniture and jewelry. The antique show is the largest fundraiser for the Junior Sorosis. NC Junior Sorosis Chair Nicole Rollins said, "Every year the continuing support of this show continues to bring the dealers back. It helps us help out the community and continues the many things we do in the community through our volunteer work.” Proceeds from the event will go toward organizations like Habitat for Humanity and New Hanover County Public Schools, just name a few.
