Hundreds of Marines deployed from Camp Lejeune for Iraq Wednesday. For many of them, it was their first time.
There were tears, hugs and long goodbyes. Some Marines said they were scared about what was ahead, but looking forward to completing their mission.

After a few down years, the movie industry has come back to life in North Carolina.
The parking lot is full, people are busy working and for Screen Gems business is booming.

We're learning more tonight about the woman known as the "black widow" who was recently arrested in Charlotte.
According to published reports 62-year-old Sandra Bridewell made her first appearance in Brunswick County court this week. She's in jail on a $1.5 million bond.

A murder plea in the New Hanover County courthouse created a lot of tension between two families today.
The family of victim says they're not happy with the court's decision and they want someone to pay.
It was pretty intense outside the New Hanover County courthouse today as deputies had to walk both families out to make sure a fight didn't start.
