Rescuers say they plan on resuming their search for a missing swimmer in Carolina Beach when they get more information.
The search began at 2:30 Sunday afternoon.
A Carolina Beach resident called 911 and reported seeing a white man in his early twenties wearing a wetsuit go into the water and never come out.
