More people are calling on Representative Thomas Wright to resign or urging the House to begin efforts to remove him from office. The State Board of Elections yesterday referred Wright's case to Wake County prosecutors after investigators found evidence showing Wright may have used more than $240,000 in campaign funds for personal expenses.

A report by a Raleigh newspaper says legal loopholes allowed four-out-of-five drivers charged with speeding last fiscal year to avoid losing their drivers licenses and an increase in insurance premiums.

The price of stamps and other postal services increase Monday.
The price of stamps went up by two cents to 41 cents. But don't worry -- if you put something in the mail this weekend you're still safe.
