With the hot weather over the weekend, many people in our area took to the water to have a good time, but along with the fun were some problems. The Coast Guard at Wrightsville Beach say even though hundreds of boats were out on the water this weekend, everybody was pretty safe.

A tall ship named after a British prince is docked in Wilmington. The Prince William will dock in the port city before heading to Norfolk, Virginia, on Thursday. It's 195 feet long with two masts and has sails that could cover eight tennis courts.
