People from all over came to downtown Wilmington to hear John McCain speak. Teenager stabbed at Ashley High New Hanover County sheriff's deputies have arrested a suspect in a stabbing Friday night. The incident took place during a football game on the Ashley High School campus. Local business climate It's no secret that recent economic woes have lead to layoffs, both here locally and around the country. There is another side to the story because companies are hiring despite the slowing times.
