Kitty: New Hanover County Animal Control

If you are looking for a pet, check out some of the many animal shelters around our area. New Hanover County Animal Control brought this cat on Good Morning Carolina Tuesday, and we are very happy to report that during the broadcast, she found a happy home. Our own Marcy Cuevas is now the proud owner. She said she fell in love with the kitty this morning, and her husband David surprised her by bringing it home. There are plenty of other animals that need good homes. To see what other pets are available at New Hanover County Animal Control, call the shelter at 910-798-7500 or visit them at 180 Division Drive. Also, if your pet needs a rabies vaccine, you can get it for free this weekend. There is a no-cost rabies vaccine clinic Saturday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Brunswick River Park. Brunswick River Park is across from Belville Elementary School on Highway 133.
