Saturday marked the final Marketplace on the River event for 2008.
There were vendors, artists and entertainers. It's all a part of the Celebrate the Arts' "Bizarre" Bazaar.

Former Wilmington Mayor Berry Williams passed away Friday night at the age of 87.
Williams died of natural causes after spending his final years in hospice. He served two terms as a New Hanover County commissioner in the 1950’s.
