As we continue our look ahead to the year 2020, with more people in our area there will certainly be more cars on our roads. But what kind of cars will they be?

Anyone can see Fred Johnson lives his life in another era. He spends his time studying and reliving the Civil War and the contribution African-Americans made while serving.

In Bladen County last year about 1,700 students started the year off in the county's two high schools. By the end of the year 148 of them dropped out. Now school officials are working to lower that number.

Whether you have special someone for Valentines Day or not eating something sweet is probably in your plans. NewsChannel 3's Stephanie Beecken brings us a recipe to satisfy your Valentines Day sweet tooth without sacrificing your waist line.

½ cup fat-free reduced-sugar strawberry yogurt
½ cup fat-free plain yogurt
¼ cup fresh or frozen unsweetened whole strawberries, thawed and mashed
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon chopped walnuts
Assorted fresh fruit
Additional walnuts, optional

In a bowl, combine the first five ingredients. Serve with assorted fresh fruit and additional nuts if desired. Chill.

Yield: 10 servings.
