Hoggard 49 - Laney 35 Hoggard solidified their position in second place with a 49-35 win over Laney Friday night in Michael Jordan Gymnasium. The Vikings got 40 points from the trio of Griffin Leuck, Logan Cain, and Zack Allen. Leuck scored 13 of his 15 points in the first half while Allen scored all 12 of his points in the second half. Cain finished with 13 points. Hoggard (16-6, 9-1) was tremendous on the defensive end, holding the Bucs to just 36 percent shooting from the floor in winning their fifth straight game. With the loss, Laney sits at 12-9 overall and 4-6 in the conference.
