Sea Hawks claim two seed for CAA tourney with win on Saturday

UNC Wilmington nabbed the No. 2 seed in next week’s Colonial Athletic Association Men’s Basketball Championship by galloping past Old Dominion, 72-64, in the regular season finale for both teams Saturday at Trask Coliseum. The Seahawks snapped a two-game losing streak and hiked their record to 19-12 overall and 12-6 in the CAA. Northeastern’s 70-59 victory over George Mason earlier in the day left the Seahawks in a tie with the Patriots for second place in the circuit, but UNCW received the second seed by virtue of its sweep of GMU during the regular season.
