As UNCW got ready to tip their opening game in the CAA Tournament, excitement turned to disappointment quickly. Down 5-0, I realized this could be it...all I could think about was winning the CAA Tourney and going to the Big Dance, not losing in the first round, but in March, it is one and done. Period.

Saturday brings the first game for UNCW in what the Seahawks hope is the first of three wins in the CAA Tournament. UNCW learned their quarterfinal opponent would be seventh-seeded Delaware, which used a balanced scoring attack with four players in double figures to defeat #10 Drexel, 60-51 in their first round 2008 Aeropostale CAA Men’s Basketball Championship at the Richmond Coliseum.
