A new biodiesel facility has just been approved to be built in Wilmington.
The new production plant will be built at the Wilmington state port. Construction is expected to start in about six months.

Military officials say a soldier based at Fort Bragg has died from non-combat related injuries.
A statement from the post on Monday said 20-year-old Pvt. Matthew Warren Brown died Sunday morning in Asadabad, Afghanistan. Brown's death is under investigation.
