Dangerous Dog Court

Last month News Channel 3 attended dangerous dog court at New Hanover County's Animal Control. The case of John Williams was compelling due to the fact Williams' dog bit deputy Jeremy Eaton. Ironically, a day later the pit bull bit another deputy, Kevin Carroll, during a domestic call. Deputy Carroll shot and killed the dog. A month has since passed. That leads us to another chapter of the monthly dog court. Full story...

WILMINGTON, N.C. – Former UNC Wilmington catcher Mark Carver (Wendell, N.C.) picked up yet another post-season honor Wednesday by being named the Eastern College Athletic Association’s Player-of-the-Year and was joined by junior pitcher Brad Holt (Albemarle, N.C.) on the American Baseball Coaches Association’s Third-Team All-America squad.
