New Hanover County has more than 300 hundred kids in foster care with only about 100 foster parents. The numbers are equally daunting across our region.
Some say there's a stigma that children in foster care are troubled kids.
I spoke with a Columbus County mother who adopted 3 foster children.
she wants that negative perception to stop.

Last night we told you about a local weight loss franchise that closed without warning.
