The 2008 Ashley Screamin Eagle football team returns twelve starters, including quarterback Zach Finegan, and could be a team to watch out for. The Eagles will have to find a way to replace running back Kenny Morton, but their defense will start seven veterans and should be stingier than '07.

Because of Saturday night’s 3-2 loss, the pressure is now on the Hammers in their last game of the season. It is win or go home against the Cleveland City Stars on August 9th at Legion. Chris Murray of the Hammers put it the best when he said “We just have to put it all together and grind out a win against Cleveland.” If the guys can get the win they will secure the final spot in the playoffs.
