The Battle of the Weekend Warriors Basketball Tournament wrapped up on Sunday, and while the Speedy Boys came up from Atlanta to take the title, Wilmington Raw had their most impressive performance in what is quickly becoming a nationally known tourney. Of this year’s event, director Lonnie Payton said, “One of the most successful events we’ve had in the nineteen years. It was a huge success both with the talent and crowds we had.”
