Several disabled workers were acknowledged in a ceremony at Wilmington City Hall Wednesday afternoon. Their employers were also recognized for their role in helping the disabled.

Kure Beach is parting ways with its town administrator. Tuesday night, the town council approved Michelle James's proposal to leave her job November 20th, instead of waiting until her contract ends in January.
