The NC Senate has changed its mind again on a smoking ban for North Carolina.
Wednesday, a legislative committee limited the proposed smoking ban in public places, because a ban on smoking in all workplaces did not have enough support.

A diver for UNCW's undersea research facility in Florida has died.
36-year-old Dewey Smith was diving with two other aquanauts near the Aquarius Reef Base off Key Largo, but died after leaving the other divers.
