New Hanover Regional Medical Center proudly showed off some new patient-friendly renovations Wednesday. The rooms are on the hospital's top two floors, and are just the start of a big renovation project.

More than 300 young Native Americans are gathered in Wilmington to learn about their cultures.
UNCW is hosting the 30th Annual Indian Youth Unity Conference. Native Americans, ages 14 to 21 from nine tribes across the state, are participating in the four day event.
