There are some changes today for the Wilmington branch of AAI Pharma. The company's pharmaceutical development division has been acquired by a private equity firm called, Water Street Healthcare Partners.

Stimulus funds are giving the state DOT the boost it needs to get started on another leg of the Brunswick County Bypass project.
Wednesday, the Department of Transportation announced that $26 million of stimulus money will help build the leg of the project that connects US 17 and 74/76 in Brunswick County.

The Cape Fear Public Utility Authority celebrated the completion of an $80 million plant project that has been 10 years in the works.
The point of the project was to expand and make upgrades to the Northside Wastewater Treatment Facility in Wilmington.

The 2009-2010 version of the Yellow Pages has 140 pages less than last year's version, which had 60 pages less than 2007-2008.
