Local boxing legend Sherriedale Morgan passes away at 75

A local boxing legend passed away at New Hanover County Regional Medical Center Thursday night. Sherriedale Morgan was champion of the 1955 Pan-American Games for the US Army.

Wilmington YMCA Triathlon takes place Saturday, Sept. 19th

The Wilmington YMCA Triathlon is this Saturday, September 19, 2009. Event organizers are expecting approximately 1300 participants. The 20K Bike Course is almost entirely within the city limits.
