Cape Fear Community College will give away free tickets to the Saturday, Jan. 15 basketball game in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Day. The game starts at 5:00 p.m. and the Sea Devils will take on Mount Zion Academy in the Schwartz Center in downtown Wilmington.

The Wilmington Police Department's 2010 crime stats also looked specifically at Downtown Wilmington. The police department says violent and property crimes were down 19 percent downtown during 2010, compared to the year before.
