Brunswick County Sheriff's detectives have obtained a warrant for a man they say robbed a Calabash bank this afternoon. Investigators say Christopher Wilson Scott, 32, of Little River, SC, robbed the Security Savings Bank at 10231 Beach Drive SW around 12:25 p.m. Full story...

A Brunswick County man has pleaded guilty to indecent exposure, a crime he's committed before. The District Attorney's office says Benjamin Stroup Korb, 48, of Holden Beach, entered the plea Monday afternoon in to two counts of misdemeanor indecent exposure. A bent construction crane in downtown Wilmington forced the evacuation of several buildings, along with some streets being closed. The sub-contractor says building were evacuated as a precaution as work crews tried to unhook the crane. Full story...
