video Doctors told the Swann family that Bonnie & Maggie Swann would never walk or talk sixteen years ago. It turns out they were wrong. The Swann twins talk up a storm. In fact Maggie Swann is a proud member of the New Hanover High School varsity track team.

Carolina Beach boat slips to be sold at auction

Eight slips will sell regardless of price with the balance selling subject to the owner's confirmation. The auction will be conducted on April 30, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel in Carolina Beach.

Three arrested for trying to scam Walmart pharmacy

The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office Drug Enforcement Unit arrested three subjects this week that were involved in an attempted prescription fraud in the Shallotte area.
