Three dead in Bladen County

The Bladen County Emergency Operations Center confirms there are three people dead after storms ripped through Bladen County this afternoon. They say two people are dead in Ammon north of Elizabethtown. One person is dead in Bladenboro.

Pender Co. Sheriff's Office: Tornado touchdown in Rocky Point

The Pender County Sheriff's Office says a tornado was spotted this evening near Rocky Point and that a tornado has touched down behind fire station No. 7 in Rocky Point.

Hammerheads will play on Sunday

The Rochester Rhinos are in town, but they won't be playing the Wilmington Hammerheads Saturday night. The game has been re-scheduled for Sunday afternoon due to Saturday's severe weather.

South Brunswick football standout dies in overnight shooting
