The Tabor City Police Detective who discovered an interview with Allen "Frog" Strickland Sunday night and caused the mistrial today has legal issues of his own.
Det. Greg Sibbett is on administrative leave from the Tabor City Police Department. He's charged with assault by pointing a gun and two counts of illegally arresting two men.

The district attorney's office subpoenaed video from us today they claim shows an insurance agent at Allen "Frog" Strickland's house the day after it caught on fire.
Strickland was charged with burning his own house down in order to collect insurance money. Former senator R.C. Soles bought him the house. Strickland's attorney last week claimed Frog never knew he had insurance on his house.

A four-year-old Pender County girl was attacked by a pit bull according to the sheriff's department.
She was taken by helicopter to New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
No word on her condition as of 3:00 p.m.

On April 24, 2011 at approximately 7:00pm, former Detective Sergeant Henry Thomas Cole was arrested by the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation and charged with Indecent Liberties with a Minor. After a first appearance, he remains in custody under a $25,000 secured bond.
