"One Tree Hill" is coming back for at least part of a ninth season. Stars Sophia Bush and Austin Nichols Tweeted Tuesday afternoon that the CW has ordered 13 new episodes for next season.

Wilmington City Council met tonight to talk money. The purpose of the meeting was to allow public input for the upcoming budget. But the public didn't seem too keen to offer input. The meeting was sparsely attended to be polite, and those who did address the council were mainly from other public sector and civic organizations.

The Southeastern Community College baseball team will be playing in the national junior college baseball tournament later this month. They earned their invitation by claiming the region ten title on Monday in Morehead City.

The Pender County Board of Health is meeting again tonight, but without six of its members. That's because they've resigned in protest over the past week.
So the question is, if the state statute says the board shall be composed of 11 members, can it legally meet with six of them missing?
