The Greene County Sheriff'S Office is searching for a missing child. Cathy Victoria Wells is a 1-year-old White female, approximately 2 feet 3 inches tall, weighing 18 pounds. She has brown hair, and brown eyes. Police say her abductors are Christy Dubois and Rodney Wells. Dubois, 35, white female with brown hair.

Two local attorneys were arrested Thursday on tax charges. Charges filed by the North Carolina Department of Revenue led to the arrests of Wilmington attorney Dennis Hayes Sullivan Jr., 43, and Brunswick County attorney Sam Edwards, 67.
