Two state troopers are off the streets after a Raleigh couple accused the duo of wrong doing. WWAY broke this story Tuesday, and tonight we take a closer look at what happened after the traffic stop last week near Wrightsville Beach. We’ve obtained video from inside the Wrightsville Beach Police Department that tells a slightly different story than what the couple has told.

A family from Pennsylvania was excited to be visiting North Carolina for the first time, but their trip to North Topsail Beach did not end on a good note. The Cartwrights 10-year-old old daughter was bitten by something in the knee-deep water that led to her being airlifted to an area hospital.

After nearly a month alone at sea, Greg Frucci returned home to Wilmington Thursday night. Although he is happy to be reunited with family and friends, he says he's already ready to go back out on the water.

Firefighters rescued a man who jumped from MLK Parkway into the marsh below. MLK was shutdown heading out of downtown for more than an hour as they worked.
