Former New Hanover Wildcat center Ty Walker has been suspended indefinitely for a violation of team rules for the Wake Forest basketball team. Walker is still a member of the Demon Deacons basketball squad. A timetable for his return is not known.

Carol Ann Johnson was found dead in her Pine Valley Drive home lask week by her fiance more than a week ago. Wilmington police still won't release the cause of death or any other details from the autopsy because they say it could hinder the investigation.
