Our state may soon be home to off shore wind farms. That’s according to Mac Montgomery, who volunteers with the North Carolina Sierra Club for offshore wind.

videoThe woman accused of hitting 21-year-old Cody Khan earlier this month and then driving away was in court facing numerous charges this morning. It was a busy day in court for Kane, who had to be in two separate courtrooms for four separate charges. We attempted to catch up with Kane after court, asking her if she had anything to say to Khan's family.

Everett Withers takes over UNC football helm

It didn't take long for the North Carolina Tar Heels to name a successor to Butch Davis. On Thursday evening the Tar Heels named Everett Withers as the new UNC interim head football coach.
