New Hanover County Sheriff's deputies find a major marijuana operation and arrest one. Deputies executed search warrants at two separate homes and found more than 220 marijuana plants. Police say most of the plants seized were mature plants ready to be harvested.

The Town of Carolina Beach says there was a sewage spill yesterday. The town says 72,000 gallons of untreated wastewater spilled a ruptured force main at Lift Station #1 at 103 Raleigh Ave.
