New Hanover County officials have been monitoring the hurricane, trying to get plans in place. It is still too early to tell who may have to be evacuated if anyone. Timing the arrival and studying the track will be key in the upcoming days.

The Rotary Club held a luncheon today to kick off the Williston Legacy Project. Rotary is partnering with the school to provide technology and literacy programs to help students. Not only that, rotary will provide speakers, mentors, tutors and volunteers for school events and academic clubs.
