The Wilmington Sharks survived a must win game on Tuesday night in Edenton. The playoff game turned out to be a home run derby, but the Sharks outslugged the Steamers to keep the Sharks season alive.

Investigators found more than 150 marijuana plants at a Pender County home yesterday. The Pender and New Hanover County Sheriff's Offices narcotics units seized the pot plants at 104 Wyndham Way in the Scotts Hill community.

A woman at the scene told WWAY it started when she got in a fight with her boyfriend who then drove away and ran the stop sign at St. Andrew's, T-boning another car. The man then got out of his car and ran away.
