As a nation, September 11, 2001, will always represent a dark day in our history. But for a member of the WWAY family, it has a much different meaning. When terrorists attacked on our own soil, reaction was immediate. Shock. Anger. Confusion. Even though Southeastern North Carolina is hundreds of miles away from the sites of the carnage, the effect rippled through our area.
