video We are still uncovering more details of alleged corruption within the Leland Police Department. We've told you all week about issues with the department and Police Chief Tim Jayne. We've learned today that Jayne has had officers do work on his home and around his neighborhood for other homeowners.

Ashley's Mason Boyles is back on top after suspension; New Hanover's best female runner competes with the boys

video Ashley senior Mason Boyles hasn't been able to compete on the high school level since the spring of his sophomore year due to a suspension that centered around his residency. He's back in rare form along with New Hanover distance runner Shelby Howell. She's not running against the girls. Howell is competing against the boys instead.

One of the topics of discussion was a Republican whose name and face has been everywhere the past few weeks. New Hanover County Commissioner Brian Berger's issues were discussed, but only for several seconds.
