We're the only local news outlet following allegations of corruption and misconduct within the Leland Police Department. Today, a town leader came forward to talk about what she thinks needs to be done. Leland Town Councilwoman Martha Currie wants Mayor Futch to call a special meeting to discuss hiring a private investigator to look into the allegations but says Futch won't pull the trigger on the meeting.
