New Hanover County Animal Control Services has confirmed the first case of rabies for 2012 in New Hanover County. ACS officers recovered an injured feral cat from a Hart Street residence in Wilmington on Wednesday. The cat was euthanized after exhibiting neurological signs and sent to the State Lab for testing.
